Connection, Integration, and Expression
Why take the Journey
After the journey through the Lataif and the Point of Light — each quality explored, each one met in its own territory, the essential identity touched — something begins to integrate. The Pearl is what emerges when the qualities stop being separate experiences and start becoming who you are.
This retreat is a natural continuation of the Lataif and Point of Light work, and open to anyone called to this stage of the journey.
The Pearl is the personal essence. Not impersonal vastness, not transcendence — but the felt sense of being a real, full, resilient person. The capacity to be here, to occupy space, to make real contact. The refinement of character that happens when essence is no longer a visitor but begins to live in the body, in relationships, in daily life.

During these five days, we will explore
We will work with connection, integration, and expression — through meditation, self-inquiry, and dialectic inquiry. While self-inquiry explores what is happening within us, dialectic inquiry opens the interpersonal field — the living, dynamic space that arises between two people when they inquire together. This shared field has its own depth, its own discoveries. Through it, our true nature connects to the true nature of another, and what emerges is not available to either person alone — a commingling that becomes a unified experience without losing the autonomy of either one.
Dialectic Inquiry
In dialectic inquiry, the field between two people becomes the territory. Each Lataif we have come to know — the strength of Red, the joy of Yellow, the peace of Black, the love of Pink, the clarity of White — comes alive differently when it meets another. Something in me calls something forward in you. Something in you calls something forward in me. The qualities loop and amplify between us, and what arises is greater than either could touch alone. This is how the work comes home: as a new capacity to meet, to be met, and to relate from what is most true.
The relational space becomes part of the practice. What happens between us is as important as what happens within us.
Mandali holds this work beautifully. Lake Orta in early December is quiet and luminous, held by the mountains. Mornings begin in silence. Afternoons open into inquiry. The group becomes a container for something precise.
‘’We have come into this exquisite world to experience ever and ever more deeply, our divine courage, freedom and light!’’ ~ Hafez
