Why Take the Journey?
Our true nature can be experienced as joy, confidence, strength, compassion, and peace. These aren’t ideals to achieve—they’re qualities we were born with and lost touch with as we grew up. When we’re disconnected from our essence, we live on autopilot—reacting from old patterns rather than responding from who we actually are. As we reconnect, life becomes more vivid. We find ourselves with more energy, more presence, more capacity to meet what comes. This work bridges ancient contemplative traditions with modern psychology. It’s not therapy, though it can be therapeutic. It’s a process of self-discovery.

The Five Retreats
The Lataif are five essential qualities that form the foundation of this work. Each quality has its own retreat, and each retreat is complete in itself—you can attend one, or several, or all five, depending on what calls you.
The cycle repeats throughout the year, so there’s no starting point and no required sequence.
White – Will, Presence, Self-Confidence
Red – Strength, Courage, Aliveness
Yellow – Joy, Curiosity, Spontaneity
Green – Loving Kindness, Compassion, Vulnerability
Black – Inner Peace, Stillness, Personal Power
Have you ever felt wobbly inside—needing reassurance, second-guessing yourself even when you know what’s true? That shakiness isn’t a flaw. It’s what happens when we lose touch with our essential will.
The White Latifa is the quality of will that supports your being. Not willpower—the pushing and forcing—but something more like a mountain: solid, present, unmovable. When you’re connected to it, you know you have what it takes to be yourself. Not because of what you’ve achieved, but because of what you are.
In this retreat, we’ll explore your relationship to will: how it got buried, what happens when it’s absent, and how to recognise it when it returns.
What will we do?
The combination of these elements creates the conditions for transformation:
– Daily meditations
– Teaching sessions
– Guided self-inquiry in small groups
– Q&A
– Movement and yoga
Who is this for?
This retreat welcomes beginners. No previous meditation or psychology background is needed—only a willingness to look honestly at yourself and a genuine interest in living more authentically.
The work is open to people of all backgrounds and traditions.
This retreat is facilitated by Emilio Mercuriali, a senior teacher of the Diamond Logos teachings founded by Faisal Muqadddam.

I wish I’d spent more than 3 days there and truly hope to go back in the future. The rooms were very comfortable, the teachers were lovely, the food was delicious - I have absolutely no complaints and can’t say enough good things. Mandali was well worth the trip!
“I came to Mandali to learn to be in the present moment. In the end, not only did I find what I was looking for, but I also happened to have discovered Self Love, and found my Inner Trust.”
“I recommend this experience to anyone looking to slow down, reconnect in beautiful surroundings filled with attention to detail, and to give oneself the sweetest gift of self-care.”
“Being at Mandali allowed me to calm down and quiet my thinking mind. The calmness allowed me to realise how grateful I am about everything in my life.”
“Mandali felt like coming home and it made me open up so much and learn more about myself and others around me. Thank you so much for opening this part of me.”
“I came to Mandali to reconnect and maybe even find myself again. During my stay, I learned that silence is very treasurable, and with it, I could finally hear what my inner voice was saying.”
“Your generosity, your kindness and your warm smiles are the cherries on the cake. Being here means living life to the fullest in every single moment. You can let go of layers, and find such a peaceful side of yourself. Go silent, sit still, let it move you and take that ride.”
