Thea Crudi, an Italian-Finnish artist renowned as Italy’s leading interpreter of Sanskrit mantras, is a pioneer in the field of spiritual music. For over a decade, she has dedicated her life to recording music that awakens spiritual consciousness and spreading the therapeutic power of sound through concerts, retreats, spiritual journeys, workshops, and mentoring programs.
A lifelong seeker, Thea began her journey with a strong foundation in jazz, studying in Pesaro (Italy) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands). She then traveled to the island of Java in Indonesia, where she specialized in the ancient art of Sindhenan singing and Gamelan dance traditions. This unique path eventually led her to the profound study of Sanskrit mantras and ancient Indian philosophy, transforming her voice into a sacred instrument of spiritual and therapeutic resonance.
Thea’s music has reached thousands worldwide, with performances in the United States, India, and Europe. She has been invited by prominent international spiritual leaders, including Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj in India, to share her gifts in front of vast audiences.
Her collaborations include prestigious partnerships with global brands such as Vivienne Westwood, for whom she performed spiritual concerts in iconic cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Milan. Thea’s music has also graced the soundtracks of acclaimed films such as "Il Fascino dell’Impossibile” (2015) by Silvano Agosti and "Choose Love” (2018) by Thomas Torelli. She has sung for esteemed global figures, including Sadhguru and environmental activist Vandana Shiva.
Thea has recorded five albums, including "Mantra Yoga” (2015), "Guru Mantra” (2016), "Vaikuntha Mantra” (2018), "Divine Mantras” (2020), and "Women of Light” (2023), a collaboration with harpist and music therapist Marianne Gubri. She has also released singles such as "Babaji” (2023), "Nordic Sages” (2024), and "Mūla Mantra” (2024).
In addition to her music, Thea is the author of two acclaimed books: "La Conoscenza Spirituale dello Yoga” (OM Edizioni, 2020) and "Il Suono dello Yoga” (GDL Edizioni, 2023). Her writings, featured in holistic and alternative medicine publications, reflect her deep insights into the transformative power of sound and spirituality.
