Maria Luisa Barontini

Maria Luisa was born near Lake Orta and spent over 30 years in Germany before returning home. Her lifelong journey with Ayurveda includes training at SEVA Academy and a deep, ongoing connection with the International Academy of Ayurveda in Pune. Her personal life experience — raising four children and caring for her elderly mother — has deeply shaped her values, compassion, and understanding of balance in all its forms.

With Ayurveda, her mission and passion are to guide people to their natural state of harmony, helping them feel rooted, balanced, and able to thrive like trees — symbols of strength, growth, and energy in our lives. Her deepest intention is to bring more self-awareness, self-trust, and well-being, encouraging everyone to take small steps and create simple but transformative habits.

She sees herself as a facilitator of one’s own potential, a role she shares with many wonderful teachers at Mandali.
She is convinced that nothing is impossible if we can imagine it, and that creativity and openness allow us to grow into our true natural size, which is often far greater than we believe.

Ayurveda is not only an ancient health and medical system but also a profound path to self-awareness — a way to ground ourselves, create a stable foundation, unfold our potential, and live both happily and healthily. Alongside its pragmatic tools such as personalized nutritional advice, daily routines, and lifestyle adjustments, Maria Luisa also works with mindfulness and emotional visualization because she knows these are powerful ways to create positive reality.

In her consultations, she offers a safe and transformative space where positive change begins with a deep connection to the self. From there, she guides each person through a practical and supportive path that aligns with their deepest intentions and goals.

Alongside Ayurveda and spirituality, her passions include yoga, meditation, hiking in nature, music, and writing. She has published two novels in Italian, in 2017 and 2020.

Maria Luisa offers individual Ayurvedic consultations, online masterclasses such as Tree of Life, and retreats in Tuscany and on Lake Orta. These retreats combine Ayurveda with yoga, meditation, and time in nature, offering an opportunity to pause, recharge, and reconnect with one’s essence, returning home with clarity and joy. Her consultations, retreats, and masterclasses are available in English, Italian, and German.

Maria Luisa’s Favorite Way to Celebrate Life:
Dance with the waves, with the clouds and with the sun, in the midst of beautiful nature. Be playful like a child. Laugh about everything with loved ones. Share a simple meal in the sun. Hug. Show love. Celebrate. Life is so easy, sometimes.
